A representative of the Training Center participated in a scientific-practical seminar dedicated to the role of forensic expertise in the fight against corruption offenses, held at the Academy of Justice
Within the framework of the "National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022 - 2026," a scientific - practical seminar titled "The Role of Forensic Expertise in the Fight Against Corruption Offenses" was jointly organized by the Center for Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice and the Academy of Justice. The seminar was attended by representatives from the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku State University, the National Aviation Academy, the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Bar Association, and other state institutions, alongside legal scholars and forensic experts.
Speaking at the event, Nazim Aliyev, Head of the Science, Innovation, and Cooperation Department of the Training Center - who represented the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy and reviewed the scientific - methodological textbook titled "Criminal - Legal and Criminological Aspects of the Fight Against Corruption" - brought to the participants' attention the contemporary global innovations and main developmental trends in the field of combating corruption, as well as the work accomplished in this area in the Republic of Azerbaijan, initiated by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and subsequently continued by his political successor, President Ilham Aliyev.
