Presentation of the Summer Internship Program and Tax Knowledge Training Held for UNEC Students
The State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy organized educational training sessions for students at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) as part of the Summer Internship Program. During the sessions, an employee of the Main Human Resources Department of the STS delivered a presentation on the Summer Internship Program. Detailed information was provided regarding the program's objectives, its contribution to the professional development of young specialists, and the career opportunities created for participants.
As part of the meetings, an employee of the STS Training Center also conducted sessions on the topic "Fundamentals of Profit Tax: Taxpayers, Objects of Taxation, and Expense Accounting." The training explained key areas such as identifying legal entities that are taxpayers of corporate income tax, principles of forming the object of taxation, the composition of deductible expenses, and accounting procedures.
The training, organized in an interactive format, saw active participation from students in discussions related to the topics. At the end, participants' questions regarding tax legislation and the Summer Internship Program were answered in detail.
